What to expect from a roundpeg training course

Course Manual

For most classes we use the highest quality commercial course materials we can find. When we can't find materials that meet our standards. When that happens, we use custom materials, usually developed by our excellent instructors.

Student Files and Class Assets

In many cases we provide class files on a CD or DVD with your courseware. Either way, your course files will be available for download from our FTP site 24/7 if you need them.

Choice of MAC or PC

Newport Beach, San Jose and online students will have choice of platform. Students at satellite facilities will have choice based on availability. 

Adobe Authorized Course Completion Certificate

You will receive a roundpeg class competion certificate, usually mailed out upon successful completion of the class.

If you choose to pursue further recogniion from Adobe, you have a few options available.

Adobe Certified Associate

Upon completion of class, you will have the skills needed to pass the ACA exam. This level of certification tells employers that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to start using an application in a professional environment. It should not be confused with the Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) required of our instructors, which is evidence of mastery within an Adobe application.

Adobe Certified Expert

Adobe's gold standard, the ACE certification ensures employers and clients of an individual's comprehensive knowledge of a particular application. These exams have gotten increasingly more difficult as the versions progress, so if you know someone with a current ACE certification, you can be sure they know their stuff (and then some!)

Adobe Certified Instructor

Certified Instructors (ACI's) have not only proven their application knowledge by passing one or more ACE exams, they've also proven their ability to teach. Individuals with a state teaching credential will automatically fulfill this requirement, as will those holding one of a select major software training designations (such as Microsoft Certified Instructor)

You will have access to both phone and email technical support upon completion of the class. This support is intended to help you with content and tasks which are part of your training. It is not intended to be a replacement for IT help with software or hardware issues! Feel free to contact us with any problems you have. If your problem is beyond the scope of our technical support policy, we will be able to tell you what your options are, including use of our Mentoring and Coaching Services.
