Kindle and iTunes account workshop

On November 13th, Matt will be in Austin, TX presenting a free 1/2 day workshop to attendees of the LavaCon 2011 conference. The event is sponsored by Adobe, Inc. and will include exercises to help attendees create the accounts necessary for publishing content to Kindle and iTunes.

LavaCon 2011, November 13-16 is the first event. Held this year in Austin, TX, LavaCon offers four days of breakout sessions and hands-on workshops on how to create digital content that enhances the customer experience and promotes your company’s online brand.

Along with presenting, Matt will also be staffing the Adobe booth in the vendor showcase. Adobe is one of three Platinum sponsors for the event, which always includes fantastic opportunities for peer networking both at the conference and in the host city. See the schedule for more detail

roundpeg will host the monthly gathering of the Orange County, CA chaper of the American Society for Training and Development. The topic will be "Mobile Learning-Using QR codes to deliver workplace learning". The presentation will be in the late afternoon to a live audience, and also broadcast to an online audience. The broadcast will be limited to the first 200 registrants.

Rocky Mountain STC October chapter meeting

On October 20, 2011, Matt will be presenting in-person to the RMSTC. The tltle of the presentation is "Creating a Personal Brand using Social Media".

Broadcom annual gathering

On October 19th, Matt has been invite to speak about Adobe's Technical Communication Suite. He will be discussing ways to extend the efforts of technical communicators to produce more engaging content.

ASTD-Orange County November chapter meeting

On November 8th, roundpeg will host the ASTD-OC chapter meeing, and Matt will discuss use of QR codes in the workplace.
