At roundpeg, we're excited to share our newly redesigned blog with all of you!
Hey, it's still a blog, but this is the kind of stuff we get geeked up about, and hopefully you're glad we do.

Recently I had an audio clip that was spread across multiple slides... I was lucky enough to find a useable version of a split word in the audio, but couldn't get Captivate to splice the audio without either an audible stutter in the word, or without a fairly large "pop" at the point of the splice. Read on to see how I solved it!It's pretty common knowledge that you can edit backgrounds in Captivate using Photoshop, right? (Just nod your head up & down if you're not sure, then right click on a background image in your library to check it out...)And if you're lucky enough to have Adobe Soundbooth installed as part of the Adobe eLearning Suite or otherwise, you can do the same thing with audio as well.

Here's a couple of quick ways to generate ePub, compatible with ebook readers like iPad and Kindle
ePub From FrameMaker or RoboHelp
If your content is in FrameMaker, I recommend using the TCS2 integration workflow to single source your content into RoboHelp. (seeFrom there, you can extend the range of your FrameMaker output options (see http://blogs.roundpeg.com/2010/01/fm-rh-options/ for a diagram of input and outputs using either FrameMaker 9 or RoboHelp 8)In RoboHelp, you now have ePub as an available output via a script available on the Adobe blogs.
